Hidden Trails is a Canadian-based riding holiday booking platform with one of the widest selections of equestrian travel experiences anywhere. Founded in 1995, they work with hundreds of local operators worldwide and offer everything from hour-long beach rides to month-long expeditions.
Because they work with so many different local operators, quality can vary more than with curated specialists. The best Hidden Trails experiences are outstanding; the worst can be disappointing. Doing your research on the specific local operator before booking is advisable.
Their strength is breadth and price — they offer options at price points that dedicated specialists can't match, and the sheer range of destinations is impressive.

Booked a week-long ride in Montana through Hidden Trails and was very pleased. The local operator they work with there is excellent — great horses, experienced wranglers, spectacular scenery. My only note: Hidden Trails itself is more of a booking platform than a hands-on organiser, so manage your expectations accordingly. The trip itself was superb.
